A very average pale ale. Pours nicely with almost a cascading head. Deep brown in color. Bitterness is mid range for this style, nothing over-powering. Hop aroma is nicely balanced with the maltiness. I found something indescribably wrong with this beer, however. It's just not drinkable to me. If it were drier or a bit more hopped, this would be a better beer. Somehow there is an inconsistency in the recipe that does not lend itself to drinkablility.
