On-tap at the pub into a pint glass...Pours a totally clear coca-cola. The head is dark tope that has great lacing...The aroma is wonderful with caramel, toffee, peat and a lot of smooth scotch...The taste is equally great, peat, scotch, and toffee. Slightly smoke to top it off. So easy to drink, but the feel is really light tripping this up a a little.

Served on tap in a pint glass at Lily's.
Appearance: This pint is a reddish bronze color with a very small white cap, or maybe just a film. A few dabs of lacing cling to the glass on the way down.
Smell: Soft plums and raisins, maybe some other orchard fruit, with caramel malt as well. East Kent Golding hops were used, and the earthy, spicy presence is noticeable as well.
Taste: The flavor starts out with some cocoa and sweet long-roasted malt. Plums and raisins become the fruit focus, with not much else behind it. Spiced and herbal light hop bitterness make their way in as the sip finishes.
Mouthfeel: The body is lighter than I would have thought. It was listed as a full-bodied beer, but especially for the style, I would have it on the light side of medium. Just a bit sticky on the lips.
Drinkability: It was ok, but not something I would write home about. Seems to be in their 5-7% beer range with moderate levels of flavor. Would not mind them upping the flavor a fair amount.
