Look: Dark brown but not thick and heavy. Light comes through pretty easily at the edges. This is not far from standard for a traditional Baltic porters, though I've seen some nice, heavy ones. The light brown head reaches one finger with decent hold.
Smell: This is a robust beer, lots of coffee notes with a bit of charred woods and some sweeter, creamier notes mingling in the end.
Taste: Robust as in the aroma, it's got the advertised coffee notes with the char moving to tartness. A touch of astringency threatens but holds off.
Feel: More in a traditional school of brewing, the body is medium. This one's quite dry and the palate feels it.

On draft at the brewery. Appears a murky brown color, not really much head. Not much aroma, especially for a porter. Taste is very mild too, just a bit of roast, a bit bitter. Body is way too thin. Overall this was the only disappointing beer had here. They need to tweak the recipe or execution.
