Copenhagen 4/1 2018. 33 cl bottle from Høkeren, Ravnsborgade, Kbh N. Label looks like David Hockney trying to paint a bunch of running nudists.
Pours murky, milky, orange with medium-sized head. Settles as frothy, 2 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer and crawling up the side of the glass. Massive lacing.
Aroma is fruity, a little sharp and chemical. Exotic fruit like mango and peach. Kerosene. Citric odor of grape fruit and lime. Tart and acidic.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, tingling and lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is a little thin and bitter-ish. Weird chemical tang.
Not the best NEIPA I've tasted. Could live without the kerosene.

Pours a hazy pale golden amber coloration with a medium, foamy head. Smell is dominated by red berry and grape notes, with hints of stone and tropical fruits as well: redcurrant, grape skins, peach, mango, with a light grassiness as well. Taste follows the nose, being dominated by bright, hoppy notes of grape skins, berries and stone/tropical fruit: currants, blueberry, peach, mango, with a light grassiness and biscuity malt as well. Finishes with a light bitterness and hop burn, with some berry and grape notes lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This has quite an unusual and interesting flavor profile, which can probably be mainly attributed to the Hallertau Blanc hops. Works rather well though, very enjoyable.
