Copenhagen 14/12 2019. 44 cl can from Køl Beer Web-shop. Flashy version of Tankers usual design with the big “T”. Black, yellow and silver foil.
Pours hazy, golden yellow with a very big, white head. Settles as several centimeters thick layer of fluffy foam. Frothy and climbing up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is malty with a notable hoppy, citric touch. Sweet pale malts, light odor of caramel. Fresh grass. Citrus and lemon. A bit sharp.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery and very lively - almost fizzy - texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter-ish with a light sweetness running as an undercurrent. Lingers for a bit.
Not the usual Vienna. A bit more bitter and hoppy. i like it - but I am not a great fan of Vienna.
