Poured from a tall can into a tulip.
Pours a nearly clear light gold with limited head but good foamy lacing. Nice bubbles in the brew.
Equal measures of fruity, floral, grassy, ad grainy notes greet the nose, but in fairly subdued fashion. Good variety, but a lack of clarity.
The brew initially arrives with fruity/grainy notes on the tip of the tongue, with citrus, grass, and peppery notes in midstream. The finish is somewhat flat and sweet.
The brew shines most on the feel, and that is a good thing for this style. Light, crisp, well-carbonated. Very refreshing and drinkable.
This is a solid take on the style, although the aromas and flavors could just be a little stronger.
UPDATE -- 2020
This brew is a little sweeter and more tart than bitter than last year's brew. And has more flavor overall. However, it feels just a little flatter on the carbonation front. Still tasty.
