Pours hazed and very pale gold. Great head and lacing.
Pleasing standard-fare aromas for a juicy IPA. Citrus, both sweet and bitter. The flavor checks all boxes for a hazy IPA but with no real flair, and the lack of a finish. It ends up seeming sort of thin and watery for the style.
This is what it purports to be, i.e., a hazy IPA, but nothing special.

16 oz can, poured into THAT! NE IPA snifter, with a born on date of 9/3/20 and a BBD of 12/2/20.
Pours a nice glowing orange-yellow with a creamy loosely knit head of 1 finger, receding to a quarter finger and leaving some slight lace on the sides.
The aroma is pungent and sweet - lots of OJ action, some sweet orange sherbet, grapefruit peel, and pale malt.
Flavor begins with some tangy orange juice followed by some harsh bitter grass and bitter grapefruit peel. The malt backbone comes back in three-quarters through and balances it somewhat, but then the finish ends pithy and bitter. It is a little empty compared to the better juice bombs out there; there's something really missing.
Feel is super acidic and moderately carbonated, with slight heat and some acidic bite on the finish. Like the flavor profile it is a little empty as well.
Overall, comparable to what White Elm is doing with their "hazy" IPAs, which is not exactly favorable, but not entirely off-point either. This is one that I'd only tepidly recommend, and wouldn't return to it myself. It's a decent beer, nothing great.
Price paid : $3.59 / can
Would buy again : no
