Fernson Barrel Drop BBA Wheat Wine, 9.5% ABV. Pours clear copper, with a slight off-white head that left no lacing. Nose is sweet caramel, brown sugar, and bourbon. Taste follows, slightly sweet and very slightly bitter, no bourbon burn. Excellent mouthfeel, overall outstanding.

Poured from a pint bottle into a tulip.
Pours cloudy deep amber with limited head and lacing.
Aromas of rye, maple, and brown sugar from the Peerless barrels blend with a tart apple note and some warming booze.
The brew hits the tip of the tongue with expected malt sweetness, including caramel and honey, but some tart wheat sour apple notes arrive in midstream before spicy rye, vanilla, brown sugar and warming alcohol arrive to round everything out.
The brew has a smooth creamy feel that finishes well.
Overall, a nice brew.
