160z can poured vigorously into a 16oz pint glass.
L: Pours a milky dull gold/orange with a short, tight slightly off-white fluffy head. Head thins staying fluffy eventually going down to edge foam. Minimal lacing. There is a little bit of fine sediment at the end of the pint.
S: Cat pee on a Christmas tree pine, orange, grapefruit and light honey.
T: Hop forward but not jarring. Juicy orange, orange zest. It is zesty. Very light vanilla. It is neither sweet or sour but rather somewhat tart. There is lingering bitterness and light resin in the finish.
F: It has a medium heavy mouthfeel that is incredibly smooth and creamy. It is first brisk with a milky foamy sensation then is tart and has a medium long finish that is lightly drying. The use of lactose is not overbearing.
O: An excellent beer in it's style. Great taste and fresh. It is much like a homemade orange milkshake or smoothie.
Mission accomplished!
