16oz can pkgd 23Aug2022 into a nucleated pint glass.
L: Pours a med dark rusty red w a 1/4" lite khaki creamy head, decent retention, low carbo even in the nucleated glass (which definitely helps), moderately thick lacing w sheeting & banding.
S: Light maltz, light grains, a hint of honey, very clean. More sweet caramelized maltz with warming.
T: Rich sweet caramelized malts, dark honey, lightly floral, a creeping bitter pine resin hop bill that goes for a long time, a light sensation of yeasty bread. It is moderately sweet.
F: Creamy, slick med to med-full bodied w a lightly drying long finish. It's a little bit sticky. The choice of using a nucleated glass contributes greatly to the creamy feel.
O: An interesting American Red Ale with a simple slow bounce from malty to bitter though sweetness remains throughout. Big taste, wide feel, fast finish w a long linger. Would be a good compliment to hot n' spicy cuisine. It is very good in its style.

Pours medium amber and crystal clear with a tan head that isn't huge but lingers well and gives way to decent lacing.
Aromas of lightly toasted malts and faint grassy hops.
Caramel malt sweetness on the tip of the tongue. Some toasty/biscuity notes in midstream. Grassy and earthy hops at the finish. A little light on the flavor but well balanced.
Slick and smooth mouthfeel. Solidly medium. Maybe needs a touch more carb, as this doesn't deliver the touch of dryness at the finish it needs.
Pretty meh overall.
