Fernson Snow Eater Stout 5.5% ABV. Pours black with a one-finger beige head that left real nice lacing. Aroma is chocolate malt. Taste is malty, faintly bitter, metallic. Decent moderately thick and creamy mouthfeel, overall very good. Real nice low-ABV non-add-junk stout.

Poured into a Nonic.
Pours very dark and almost completely opaque with a solid lasting almost nitro-like tan head and good lacing.
Aromas of dark chocolate and brownie/cake batter with a touch of char/coffee. Fairly subdued.
A bit of choco-sweetness initially is quickly swallowed up by char and ash. A touch of metallic character at the finish. Ok but just ok.
Very well carbonated and drinkable without coming off as thin for the style.
