Visited this place while in Schroon Lake to watch our niece perform in My Fair Lady. The family went to Sticks and Stones for dinner prior to the show. I'll preface this by saying it was a great place.
There's a large dining area with an equally large outdoor patio(s). Extra points for being dog-friendly.
A dozen or so beers on tap. I had a couple (OK, three) IPAs from Paradox, a local brewery. Very nice.
A variety of food was ordered and everyone was happy with their meals My wife and I split a pizza and they had vegan cheese for it. Many extra points for that!
Our service was excellent, despite my brother-in-law acting like an asshole (but that's a story for another day).
If I'm ever back in Schroon Lake again, I will be eating at Sticks and Stones.

Sticks & Stones is a great little gem located just a few miles off I87 in Schroon Lake, NY. This is a great place to stop for dinner and some brews after a day on the lake or a hike in the Adirondacks. The ADK decor is so welcoming, as is the staff and the smell of fresh pizza baking in the wood - fired oven.
I had the pleasure of being there for an evening that featured live music on the lawn with a fantastic band. The front lawn and patio both have fire places built in to help set the ADK vibe. Guests are also allowed to have their pets on the patio! The beer on tap features local brews, as mentioned in the other reviews, which is a great way to stay true to the ADKs!
The food is similar to a bistro you would find in a larger city. Everything tastes so fresh, from the salads to the pizzas and entrees. My go to dishes are usually one of their signature pizzas or the Very Berry Salad, which includes nuts and berries on greens tossed in a vinegarette, paired with a Paradox beer. If I'm in the mood for something sweet I order up the Campfire dessert. This dessert uses ingredients like brownies, ice cream and pretzels to mimic a campfire, and it's delcious!
Between the staff and the comfortable atmosphere both inside and out, it's hard not to feel like you're at home during any season of the year, enjoying a great craft beer and a 5 star menu.

I've been to sticks and stones a few times now and the place is great. When you walk in the door your greeted with a smile. It has an adirondack theme which I love and is decorated very well. The hot and stinky wings are amazing and I would recommend trying them paired with 1 of the great local brews on tap. On tap they supply local brews from paradox, davidsons, and adk. The wood fired pizza is probably my favorite meal choice there. For dessert I would recommend the campfire which is just incredible. It's a brownie boulder with ice cream, pretzels, and sprinkles. The atmosphere is great. They have live music outside which is pretty cool when weather permits. Also met the owner Gary who is great!! Overall this place is great and I would recommend to anyone!!

I love this place! So much so that I felt compelled to add it to BA and write this review.
Stick & Stones is like a mix between a log cabin and home. It has a medium-sized restaurant with a separate bar area that includes a few hightop tables, and the entire place is completely decked out in an Adirondack theme. There isn't a large bottle or tap list, but most of what they offer are craft options, and specifically, local/regional craft beers. You can get growlers to go, so I did that last time since the microbrewery down the road (Paradox) had closed for the day. They also sometimes have live music, apparently both inside and out, though I am not sure how often.
Regarding the food, I have been a few times now and have ordered something different each time and haven't been disappointed yet. I would recommend any of their wood fired pizzas, the burger, and the wings (ask for the off-menu "hot n stinky" and they'll come spicy with bleu cheese). And I even met the GM Gary last time -- he is great guy who made sure I enjoyed myself. Overall, an extraordinary establishment and highly recommended!
