January 16th, 2014 - A churning brown brew, this looks like a roiled tea at first, but the sharp hops in the aroma with a little cherry brightness. Meanwhile, the flavor is more sweet and spicy at first, and then transitions to a crisp brut style dryness. Those first spice notes are sharp with clove and cardamom, but these desiccate quicky. There is also a soapy happiness in the aftertaste of the beer which leaves off in an odd fashion, but not unpleasant.
