This thing starts out exactly as billed, as the aroma is perfectly layered with straight on maple syrup sitting on top molasses sitting on top chocolate. Taste is very similar, as the maple syrup acts as the backdrop to the well crafted stout, full of chocolate and hints of cherries. Finish is like Belgian chocolate with a little bit of bitterness lingering.

Bottle 17/160. Finish is rough, I had really high hopes for this, but I believe this is way over-hyped. Good beer, but not worth a chase
