500ml bottle, wax over cap. No dating information found.
Black colored body. Brief appearance of brown colored head with the pour but this immediately disappears. Film on the glass left behind but no lacing.
Aroma of peanuts and chocolate, with rye spice. Smells sweet.
Taste is boozy hot, with vapors. Candy sweet. Flavors of peanut butter cups, chocolate, whiskey barrel, and oak. Note of rye spice. All flavors linger into the aftertaste.
More than medium mouthfeel. Syrup and sticky texture. Very boozy but no burn because of the sugar sweetness counterbalance. Supportive carbonation.
Stout with well balanced and tasty adjuncts that make the brew sweet and candy-like. Peanuts and rye work well together.
