A traditional American IPA with a big, hoppy flavor. A Keys “kritter” is how we describe a large population of locals: big, hairy and sometimes with a bold odor. Most kritters spend their days on the water and soaking up sunshine.

Pours a medium-dark amber, minimal head. Big hoppy aroma - resinous, malty, I am not used to west coast IPA’s.
Quite bitter, def a west coast ipa. Hops are resinous, citrusy, malt is big and bold. Appropriate carbonation. Overall, not my favorite style, but darn good for the Keys.

12/30/2019 on draft at Sharkey’s seaside Grill in Key Largo. I was hesitant again about Florida IPAs, but Key brewing delivered. Excellent IPA with plenty of citrus hops just like I like. Would buy again.

16oz can: This one pours a fairly clear amber color. There was a small off white head that leaves minimal lacing. An interesting nose. Pine, earthy hops, grain. Only medium bitterness. The taste is a little different. Pine and earthy hops, graininess, and an almost woody/oakiness to it. OK
