Copenhagen 24/4 2026. 44 cl can from Beershoppen web-shop. Straightforward light blue can telling me this is a 100% Nelson Sauvin Indian Pale Ale.
Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as an uneven and lumpy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of ripe stone fruits mingling with tart and sharp citrus fruit and berries. Sweet peach. Whiff of petroleum. Grapefruit and tart gooseberries. Citrus.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, a bit viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger tart bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and tart. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Satisfying single hop endeavor.

Pours a hazy orange with airy, soapy head.
Smell is crisp and fruity with notes of grapes, white wine, gooseberries, tangerine and a bit of white pepper.
Taste is crisp and juicy with notes of gooseberries, grapes, white wine, peach and tangerine, with a melony sweetness to balance the solid bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy with good carbonation.
Overall, a terrific showcase of Nelson.
