Copenhagen 20/10 2023. 33 cl bottle from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Purple label with a solid tree in red.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a small off-white head. Stable. Settles as thin patch of foam floating in the middle of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a heavy, sugary sweet odor mingling with woody, dark alcohol. Brown sugar and toffee. Raisins and plums. Sweet bourbon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit sticky, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a heavy sweetness followed by a moderately strong sweetness. Aftertaste is sugary sweet. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry with a lingering sweetness.
Overwhelmingly sweet yet potent.
