Server in a teku glass from the bottle.
Appearance: Deep mahogany color which comes off opaque.
Smell: Raisins with sugar and hints of vanilla. It's a strong aroma which just sticks to your nose especially after the brew warms up a bit.
Taste: Complex sweet and mix of dates, toffee and vanilla. Addicting taste which comes off sweet.
Mouth: Sticky body with a sweet finish.
Overall: One of the finest barley wines that I have had in recent years. Complex brew with a little bit of everything going on. It's dessert in a glass without it being too overpowering. Salud!
