ust enough malt backbone to stand alongside the smooth bitterness of the hops. And then dry hopped with 3 different varietals makes this easy to be enjoyed time and again.

Thanks jhartley for this crowler!
A - A nice deep copper color with great clarity, no lacing, no carbonation.
S - Toasted grain, a little earthy, a little grainy, sticky pine, delicate citrus.
T - Some delicate citrus up front that gets beaten down quickly quickly by toasted malt and earthiness while ending with a sharp lingering piney bitterness.
M - Medium body. Unfortunately the can lost some of its carbonation in transport. Very dry.
O - The bitterness continues to build, love the bitter dryness of this beer.

It is a deep, copper gold color. Pretty thick off-white to cream head. Decent retention. It retains a solid film and leaves some lacing and some of that slowly creeps back into the beer.
It smells earthy/musty with a dull grapefruit and orange rind and some light grainy bread.
Definitely a raw, non-sweet fruit flavor. A very musty melon/cantelope and grapefruit. A distinct dry hop flavor with a solid bitterness that transitions into a little bit of spicy mango/pineapple and finishes with a lingering golden brown biscuit.
Edit: a sweeter flavor sneaks in as it gets to room temp. A passionfruit with a little berry.
This is a very easy drinking with a very soft feel in a light-medium body.
This beer doesn't scream ipa like most pales now. Very authentic style that reminds me in many ways of a Dale's Pale. I would definitely recommend this one.
