Had on draft at the brewery on a hot Florida October Saturday afternoon after walking around the Farmer's Market.
Appearance: Typical cloudy/murky golden-yellow body, nice white head that left nice islands of lacing behind.
Aroma: Grapefruit, lemon, pine.
Taste/Mouthfeel: Tons of citrus and pine with a nice sweetness that offsets the bitterness. Smooth feel and easy to drink. Really satisfying.
Overall: This is another one of those beers from Crooked Can that doesn't disappoint. It seems everyone is brewing a NE IPA now and jumping on that band wagon, some aren't too successful, but this one is really well done! Sometimes it seems an NE IPA leaves an almost chalky like feeling behind that and is almost too dry. This has all the juiciness you want and more! Another Crooked Can beer that they should be canning instead of leaving it a brewery release only available for growler and/or crowler fills.
