Black in color but hoppy enough to not call it a porter. This beer has been described as tasting like Spring.

On tap at brewery. Flavor rules (and saves) the day here. Aroma and appearance are unassuming, but taste comes on full bore, delicious without being overly bitter. Almost sweet and citrusy. A totally different BIPA.

Draft at the taproom ... Pours the standard almost black with a hint of ruby... Foamy khaki head is reminiscent of the cap on espresso.. Dark roastiness comes off as cocoa and lesser cold brewed coffee, but the hops are the big players here with pithy citrus and resinous pine... the hops are plumped up by a sweetness mid palate that helps them trail on to the finish... Pretty well made ABA... I will happily get this one next time I'm at the brewery.
