Draft at brewery. Milky yellow pour, small foamy head fades to skin. Citrus, limes on the aroma..More citrus in the taste, drying, margarita flavors.Ligh, citrus, quenching.

a fun little summer beer here, a pils type as a base beer, but done up with some coriander and a lot of lime, its still light and crisp, but the citrus character is strong, i think this was done for cinco de mayo originally, but it might as well stick around all summer long. my criticisms are that the lime is a little strong, especially as it warms up, and we lose some of the grain nuance and lager yeast character because of that. its also a little stronger than it needs to be, something closer to 4% abv would make it more of a session beer for me, and a little more dryness would be appreciated. that said, the lime goes nice with the coriander in this, and the unfiltered nature gives a nice texture to this that might not be there in a more refined lager. good carbonation also keeps it light and refreshing. they did a chili version of this too that i liked at least as much, it added a lot of complexity, but i think this one is pretty good too. i like what county line is doing, they seem to be ahead of a lot of their local peers in terms of quality at this point...
