Amber color with a thick beige head with great retention and leaving laces.
Delicious aroma with notes of passion fruit, melon, mild pine, grapefruit, pineapple with spearmint and caramels.
Hoppy flavor with notes of pine, lots of spices, toasted malts, grapefruit citrusy, mango, resin, tea leaves and caramels. Quite dry aftertaste with a long, long lasting bitterness. Bordering or over three digits.
Deceivably medium body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 9% abv is well disguise
Bold DIPA from Chile. This brewery has definitely not let me down so far, beer after beer. Just one last style to try. This is far west coast bitter (close to human thresholds) with intense piney and grapefruit citrusy notes, and a great tropical nose. Assertive mouth, not super complex. Recommended for pros.

Quite a nice imperial IPA from Chile
Presentation: 330 cc capped brown bottle. Purple label with an outline of an urban skyline under a floating island where a brewery and Jester are connected through a hop vine. Text offers brew name, general characteristics, and inspiration. Notes 9% Alc. by Vol. Served on a IPA Spiegelau glass.
A - Pale amber pour, rich head with good retention, and surface memory as the lacing sticks to the glass.
S - Rich hoppy nose, small touch of tropical fruits, with a longer citric range.
T - Small caramel backbone holding up a rich hop profile with some tropical fruit, resin, and a small herbal touch.
M - Medium to medium/light body with soft carbonation, nice closing bite with a lasting palate memory.
O - Very nice flow: sturdy range of hops with a solid structure holding it up.
Notes: Pretty impressed. Jester knows how to craft quality beer in Chile. Nice quality bracket. One can see the US West Coast inspiration reinterpreted with dexterity.
