Growlette to tulip, the appearance was a semi-stiff bready orange color with a cap of a little white foamy head that slid off at a good pace. Moderate stringy lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of white bread to Belgian crisp yeast, white pepper, floral hop components, herbal character, sweet grass, slight lemongrass and a little bit of cracker.
The flavor was a nice blend of all of those aromatics - the sweet to the spice to the floral bumping the herbal character right on in and following through in the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good. ABV felt appropriate. Finish was semi-malty with a light spice.
Overall, pretty nice Belgian pale ale that I would come back to.
