An amazing kolsch! Pours a slight orangish color with plenty of thick, lasting foamy head; significant retention. Nice light body taste with a hint of clove and banana(?). Very good.

Can. Hazy straw with lasting head and lace, loud fizzy pour. Crackery herbal aroma with some hints of green apple and vanilla. Mild herbal grassy finish with lingering bready sweetness. Lively fine light body, slightly too soft. Could be more minerally and grassy and earthy. Not a bad beer, but not a good Kolsch.

Went through a four pack and the last can I decided to use a stange for.
The appearance was a semi-murky burnt yellow to dull copper color. A finger's worth of white foamy head slid off fairly quick to leave some light lace.
The aroma meshed sweet malt, grassy and earthy hops, light biscuits, a touch of honey and a whiff of white bread at the very end.
The flavor moderately yielded to the bready to malty/biscuity sweetness initially and developed a keen earthy to grassy underlying hoppiness. Semi-dry cracker to biscuity and earthy aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a sturdy sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good. ABV felt fine. Fairly smooth running around my tongue. Nice crisp and earthy finish.
Overall, very nice easy drinker hitting the spot in the Summer weather. Would definitely love to have again with some brats.
