Two cans, one was poured into a becher pint glass and the other was poured into an English pint glass. Barely any noticeable difference between the two.
The appearance was a golden yellow color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head. Slight semi-thick messy lace.
The aroma had a wonderful blend between grapefruity bitter rind and bitter pine. Clean white bready notes on the back end.
The flavor mixes the prior mentioned aromas initially somewhat bitter but with just a bit of warmth, this beer opens up arranging some orange pulpy notes in underneath. Mild aftertaste of bitter pine and grapefruit.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good, somewhat low but not too much. ABV felt good. Definitely a finish that leads towards the bitter side.
Overall, really liked it for me, but not so sure many people liking the juicier hoppy APA's these days are going to go for this.
