Can to tulip.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt semi-dark orange color with a small off white foamy head softly dissolving. Some speckled lace clung to the glass nicely.
The aroma had a sugary malt up front with some tropical fruity bubblegum to white bready notes. Grassiness underneath.
The flavor definitely leaned into the sweetness of it all combining all of the prior mentioned. Mainly a grassy hop aftertaste with old tropical fruity bubblegum.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a decent sipping quality with an old school chewy texture to it. Good carbonation. Finishes with that tropical fruity bubblegum, touch of stickiness.
Overall, it's an alright stab at the New England style but honestly seems to come across more of an American Imperial IPA. Not sure if I would come back to.
