Note: my rating of this refreshing brew is my subjective opinion. If I were to rate Isekai'd as true to the style, it'd be 5 out of 5. But I am being a bit subjective here.
This is a very good replica of a typical Japanese rice lager brewed by a small scale yet well known Vermont's veteran owned brewery.
Together with his awesome team, Casey, the Head Brewer, has done a fantastic job creating a simple and refreshing Japanese style lager.
I believe t's a seasonal brew and I am thrilled to have been able to try it.
Pours pale straw. Very similar to a typical Asahi/Kirin/Sapporo type brew.
A very light refreshing aroma of... rice? Maybe. Pleasant but fleeting.
The taste is almost cider-ish. Crisp, light, your typical rica lager. As expected. But too light for my taste buds.
Overall, very well done!
