Copenhagen 28/7 2017. 33 cl bottle from Østerbro Vin & Spiritus, Østerbrogade, Kbh. Ø. Crooked Tree with a lot of roots inside yellow circle on the label. Described as a "Gluten Free Gin & Tonic IPA". Seems to be the new fad in Danish Micro Brewing.
Quite foamy upon opening. Pours hazy dirty orange with big dense white head. Settles as thin but solid fluffy layer of foam.
Aroma is quite citric with fermented fruit, light notes of alcohol and juniper.
Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and herbal. Dry finish.
Decent IPA even though I am not convinced that Gin & Tonic and juniper goes so very well with beer. But nice try.
