Smell is sweet, a lot like the ESB, but with hints of barrel. You can smell a hint of rum, but not overpowering at all. taste is very woodsy with notes of rum with the Scorpion ESB in the background, so balanced out maltiness (caramel prevails) and light hops. Very well done. Unique!
