Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on July 3, 2019. Le Jus variant hopped solely with Citra. Look is hazy and opaque. Notes of citrus and tropical fruit. Feel is silky smooth.

Appearance - Pours opaque dull yellow with a huge fluffy white head, excellent retention. Lots of spotty lacing.
Aroma - Citra bomb grapefruit, candied oranges and pineapple. Sweet with a touch of bitterness.
Taste - The taste still leans toward the sweeter side but has a nice bitterness on the finish. Orange, pineapple and grapefruit. Really well balanced the citra really shines.
Feel - Medium bodied soft nice carbonation, slightly dry finish.
Overall - Hits the style on the head.Lots of citra, soft easy drinking well done. The mouthfeel really shines so soft and smooth.

Canned 5/10/19; drank 5/18/19 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque orange appearance.
A violent pour yielded a nice off-white head; a thick curtain of lace remained.
Cane sugar, cream & mango notes in the nose.
Soft, medium mouthfeel.
Cane sugar & mild mango flavors up front; wheat & cream notes on the finish.
Decent enough & the mouthfeel is great, but man, this was WAY too sweet. One is enough...forever.

16oz can, dated 05.01.19 "Dat Citra", poured into a 14oz snifter glass.
The beer pours a hazy and cloudy golden straw color, orange hues with a thick finger of white head that has modest retention and yields a decent amount of soapy lacing. The aroma is great, tons of juicy citrus, bursting with dank and weedy floral bouquet, light pine bitterness and a soft and sweet pale dough. The flavors are excellent, loads and loads of citra, super juicy, valencia orange, light grapefruit, a touch of tropical pineapple with great floral and dank qualities, nice resinous character with some pleasant bitterness and a lightly sweet doughy backbone. The mouthfeel is great, coating, creamy, heavier medium body that has a nice lively finish that is dry and easy.
Verdict: An excellent NEIPA from Alarmist. The citra is really emphasized and offers such a great boost to the juiciness and floral qualities to this beer. The regular Le Jus is already a fantastic beer and this just keeps that trend going with extra Citra goodness. Balanced, bright, juicy, refreshing, just a top notch IPA.
