Tasted in a pint glass from draft at Alarmist Brewing on June 23, 2019. A gracious tip their hat to the style of IPA that inspired them. BOOMER was brewed for a clean bitterness, along with caramel malt, followed by notes of tangerine and an explosion of pine.

16oz can, no apparent freshness date. A frothy beige head caps a slightly hazed amber colored DIPA. Earthy pine, citrus pith, and grain for aroma. Big grainy caramel malt backbone backs a bold and pungent hop profile of earthy pine, grapefruit, and orange. Full body, moderate carbonation, dry & bitter finish with some residual sweetness from the grain. This was good.
