Light gold with very white head. Aroma is biscuity and grassy, as is the taste. Body is pretty light. Fairly straightforward for the style but stands out in only one way: the lacing was amazing.

16 ounce can into a pilsner glass. Had 8/16/22.

Pours a pale golden yellow, clear, with a two inch foamy head with very good retention and thick foamy lacing. Active carbonation. Aromas of malt, yeast, grassy hops, a hint of vanilla. Smells lightly herbal and has a little bit of a spicy aroma. Flavors of malt, herbal and grassy hops, light yeast, light spiciness . Has some hop bitterness, especially on the finish. Crisp, smooth, a good lighter body, well carbonated.

A fairly classic version, maybe a touch lighter, but well made and enjoyable.

Around medium carbonation which dissipates a bit with close q medium body.
Aroma is grass,earthy hops,cereal,grain.
Taste has a very mild sweetness but otherwise stays true to the aroma.
Overall I really enjoyed this one and would definitely get it again

16 oz can into a pint glass. Hazy golden-straw color with a half-finger of foamy white head. Grassy hop and doughy malt aroma. Peppery cracker flavor with medicinal hop bitterness. Medium-light bodied with a crisp, dry finish.

Several factors went into this as one of my beers of choice this afternoon. In addition to my trying to close out Untappd's "Better Together" collaboration badge, I also have the "Crisp as Day" badge for Pilsners in my sights. I long ago closed out the one for Lagers, but there is CANother one specifically for Pilsners. My count? 415/500 with this one as 416. Next was its price point during my last visit to Hunger-n-Thirst: it was so inexpensive that they might as well have been giving it away! Finally, the fact that it CANstitutes a CAN for The CANQuest (tm) makes it a slam dunk.

From the CAN: "Pilsner"; "Serve Cold!"

I followed directions on this one & kept it cold since bringing it home & getting its picture readied. Following that, it has been in my reefer for nearly a week, awaiting this glorious moment! I Crack!ed open the vent & when nothing untoward or notable ocCANurred, I beCAN a Barista's Glug into my favorite tall Pilsner glass. This is the pour where the CAN is held as high & as far from the glass as possible while still achieving a C-Line Glug. This resulted in the formation of two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, bone-white head with excellent retention. Color was Pale-Straw (SRM = 1 - 2) with NE-quality clarity & I hate to say it, but today was just too nice a day for this one! It looked like liquid sunshine & would have been a day-brightener during the Winter. No matter. It was still quite elegant in that tall, CANcave glass. Nose had an emphasis on its biscuity maltiness although Noble hops were clearly a part of the equation. Mmm. Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium, not watery, but not far beyond it. Hey, for a Pilsner, this was par for the course. The taste was parchingly dry and biscuity, helped along by the Noble hops' grassiness. This was a beer that simply cried out to be acCANponied by a pretzel & all of mine had been CANsumed a few days prior! 8=( Finish was crisp & extremely dry & would be just the thing in a beach-bound cooler on a hot, humid Summer's day. I will be looking into a stash if/when anything reopens. YMMV.

7/1/19 (Chicago): $11 four 16 oz cans purchased 6/29/19, canned 6/20. Can poured into pint glass, faint straw colour pour, light white head quickly fades, as does carbonation. Pleasant bread grassy aroma. Mild bread hops taste, light pepper, solid Pilsner offering. Light crisp clean mouth feel, carbonation fizzy, holds. Overall good offering.
