16 oz can into a pint glass. Clear pale straw color with an initially large sudsy white head that very quickly faded but left a little lacing. Smells of hay/grass and sweet adjunct like corn. Malt flavor is pleasantly doughy with just enough sweetness. Minimal funk, very smooth and easy drinking.

Sampling a cold 16 oz can of this beer poured into my .5L dimple mug. Ive had the can for about 2 years in my fridge. No date stamp so cant tell for sure.
the beer pours a bright golden color with a fizzy bleached white head of 2.5 cm foaming up. This foam fades to a thin edge layer soon after the pour. The aroma is some crackery malt ad some grassy hops with a little bit of black pepper on the nose too. generally a mild nose.
First sip reveals a light and crisp body with fine prickly carbonation. Beer feels almost a little watery and drinks very easy.
Flavor is some cracker malt a little grassy hop and I am getting anice and black pepper on the finish each time I swallow. Im surprised by these flavors, more so the anice anyway. Its not a flavor that I like and not one that I anticipated from the style.
The beer is crushable, the spicy notes I dont like, but otherwise its fine. Not something I would seek out again though.

Hazed straw with a half-finger of off-white head. Modest, soapy lacing.
A little corn, a little grass and a little sulfur in the fairly crisp aroma.
Taste follows nicely. Modest grassy bitterness rounds out the finish.
Light to medium bodied with tight carbonation.
Probably wouldn’t have pegged it as a helles blind, but it’s a nice, drinkable lager nonetheless.

Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
As the editor, do I transition to the opening credits with a smash cut or something smoother? Regardless, this stuff pours a clear sunrise brass topped by a finger of fairly white foam. The nose comprises mild grass, mild biscuit, and a hint of honey for good measure. The taste brings in more of the same, the flavors a bit more robust than their aromas, allowing for a rather pleasant helles drinking experience. The body is a hefty light, with a light moderate carbonation and a smooth feel. Overall, a rather nice helles, not necessarily anything I'm going to write home about from Bavaria, but something I could easily see myself crushing several cans of in this dreadful Summer heat.
