Opaque dark brown appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big khaki head; strong, frothy tree-rung lacing remained.
Campfire smoke & smoked ham notes in the nose.
Creamy medium thick mouthfeel.
Campfire smoke & bacon flavors up front; hints of cream on the finish.
Smoky, for sure, with nice ham/bacon accents & some creaminess. You could do a lot worse for an American Rauch.
