Canned 2/21/24; drank 3/11/24 @ the Yarchives.
Black appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big, noisy dark tan head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lacing remained.
Melon, wood, banana & faint chocolate notes in the nose.
Medium thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Wood, dill, banana, whiskey & faint chocolate flavors.
This is harsh and clashing; not a great first barrel aged beer for Alarmist. But hey, they've got nowhere to go but up!
