More of a "strong-ale" to me...a very good strong-ale. 9% well-hidden so be warned, Creeper is very drinkable!

My first try of this new brewery in Huntersville.Came a deep amber with a frothy thinner head atop.Big caramel and sugary sweet notes in the nose but a healthy does of resin and citrus balances it out pretty well.Big and malt forward and pretty sweet with a good shot of alcohol,some deep pine resinous flavors come into the finish,keeping the sweetness...almost in check.Like many of the style the malty sweetness is just as big as the hop profile but not to bad.
