Clear dark brown with amber hues. Nice robust malty aroma and flavor with a touch of smoky character. Good balance with light sweetness. Fairly light bodied due to carbonation.

A local recipe from a small microbrewery I frequented in college before microbreweries were cool. Unfortunately that brewery closed it's doors and somehow Pale Fire obtained the recipe. Poured from growler into tulip glass. Poured a deep amber with a finger of thick cream head. Notes of sweet malts, caramel, and smoke on the nose. Taste followed the aroma. Medium bodied. Nostalgia says a really good beer and take on the style
