On-tap at Capital Ale House, Richmond, VA
A: The beer is very dark red in color. It poured with no head whatsoever.
S: Faint aromas of dark malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavor of dark malts and malt extracts.
M: It feels medium-bodied, smooth and slick on the palate with a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has a nice mouthfeel but tastes less "stoutish" compared to other beers in the style.
Serving type: on-tap

In Harrisonburg for the weekend. Went to the brewery on a multi stop adventure. This was by far the weakest stop. It's odd in that their non Belgian styles had a very carbonated/fizzy mouthfeel. Was not what I expected and wasn't good. Had a decent aroma so expected more.
