Canned 9/13/22
A - Dark slightly cloudy amber with a huge 4 finger head that dissipates to a thin layer.
S - Pilsner noble hops
T - herbal bitterness. Whatever maltiness is overwhelmed by the hop bitterness.
MF - medium body, dry finish.
Too hoppy. Too bitter. More of a red IPA than an Irish Red. Where is the malt.

From a 16 oz. can into a pint glass. Pours a hazy muddy brown color with a small very light tan head. Aroma and taste are sweet bready malt. Could have used a stronger caramel malt profile. Not much else going on. Mouthfeel is moderately sweet and rich. Easy drinking but not much complexity.

Dark copper in color. Light and thin head.
Malty aroma. Subtle hits of cheery.
Heavy on the malts. Light on the hops. Not extremely complex, but smooth.
Smooth and easy to drink.
A solid but not great beer.

From the bottle, it pours a nice clear reddish brown color (coppery?) with a tiny off-white head that soon diminishes to a thin ring and continent. In the nose, it is caramel and malt. In the mouth, it is the same: caramel forward with malt after.

Pours a deep red color with minimal white head, fades quickly to a little lacing. Smells mostly malty with a little cherry and toffee. Taste follows, mostly a rich malt, hint of cherry, and toffee finish. Some good bitterness. Solid Irish Red.

Poured a clear amber with soft cream head. Notes of malt cherry toffee and spice. Taste followed nose with a slight coffee finish. Light carbonation and goes down easy. I highly recommend.

On tap:
Pours a deep ruby brown, clear but too dark to see through. Head is lacking, truly bring this aspect down.
Nose is quite malty, with a cherry toffee overall impression. Light spice aspect is involved, as well.
Taste starts exactly like the nose indicates. The beer flows nicely, cleanly more than softly. Light carbonation. There's a very light coffee aspect at the edge near the end.
A decent, easily drinking malty option.
