Deep black with a light tan head. Aromas of deep sweet malt and light chocolate. Taste is smooth with coffee, chocolate and a great malty creaminess. Finish is relatively smooth and has a feel of milkiness. Decent bitterness, mild, at the end with cocoa and malt

Growler filled on 2/25/2017 so it was one week old. Poured into a pint glass. It's virtually jet black, with mahogany hues when held to the light, and one finger of fine, khaki-colored head and lacing. It features a nice aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, freshly-brewed coffee, and oatmeal. All of the smells can be tasted but there is also a hint of sweet vanilla on the tip of tongue. I didn't taste any dark fruit. It is not particularly viscous or chewy and the carbonation had likely dissipated since the growler was a week old. The 8% ABV was barely noticeable. It is highly drinkable. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting much but Lucille Two is well-crafted and flavorful. My constructive criticism is that for an "Imperial Stout," I would have expected more body and some dark fruit. Still, quite good.

Poured a brown body with two-finger head. Roasted dry malt aroma with only hints of oats/wood. Has a touch of oatmeal sweetness in the hefty body but kind of ends up being a dry, rough oatmeal stout.

Not a bad attempt at a bigger stout by PF. At only 8%, I don't think it's fair to compare this beer to the 12+% monsters that have become the norm for the style. Nice roasty, chocolate notes. Some coffee, but pretty one dimensional with the chocolate. A bit thin, but very drinkable for 8%, and a bit dangerous considering it was served in a pint glass.
I wish it was a bit fudgier and more decadent, but this was pretty tasty. Hopefully they either amp this up another notch, or brew a couple variants to make this beer a little more exciting.
