Inviting the ghosts of the evening, Night Echo drifts from layers of spicy, caramel rye and roasted malts into the increasing complexities of Amarillo and Mosaic hops. Dreams drift into wakefulness, blurring perception.

On tap:
A translucent brown with a thin island of head in the center of the medium-thin ring that supplies a bit of fleeting lace.
Nose has a light astringency to a floral/tropical hop not that is countered by a very light toasted-leaning-roasted note.
Hop-forward with the tropical fruit notes, the black malt catches up mid-palate aided by a citrus pithy bitterness. This beer is smooth while being light on its feet, warmth does seem to water it down slightly, though.
A nice Black IPA that doesn’t get too bitter from roast or hops, but has enough malt and hop influence to be enjoyable.
