Our new German Pilsner features a blend of French, German and Belgian Malts for a complex yet easy to drink pilsner. German Pilsners are known for being a bit more bitter than an American lager or a bohemian lager (Easy Go). We lagered (Cold Conditioned) this beer for 8 weeks for improved drinkability. This beer was also decocted, a traditional German and Czech style of brewing that beings a richer mouthfeel while also leaving you with a dry snappy finish. This is a clean pilsner that you could easily drink and not think about. Or you could savor the nuances of the matchstick sulfur and the lemon undertones.

On tap at brewery:
Pale yellow-gold with a nice white cap and nice lacing. Nose is a little sweet which pairs with a lemon/lime aroma to evoke a bit of citrus soda.
Taste also runs a little sweet, and the bitterness, while present, is lighter than expected for the style. The beer is very smooth and easy to drink, with medium light carbonation. Sweet bread malt followed by a candied lemon before grassy bitterness balances things out.
This is sort of a balance between an American pale lager and a German Pilsner - maybe a little more American with the sweetness.
