I got this off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle. It poured a slightly hazy orangish with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had very nice citrus peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with smooth citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a very solid beer. This is very close to what Zombie Dust tasted like when it first came out.....very noyce.

It's the holy trinity of craft beer success surrounds the words of "citra", "hazy" and "IPA. So, this can't miss recipe is sure to give Taft's Ale House a big boost of popularity, excitement and overall sex appeal for the tastebuds.

Hazy gold and with a slight tilt toward burnt orange, Cincy Cobra pours with a creamy, frothy and well constructed but standard looking foam stance. Emboldened citrus aromas bring an herbal grassy note with hints of tropical fruit for an overall citronella scent. Honey, caramel and a sweet breadiness brings the malts to the forefront of taste, at least on the initial sip.

But the hops spring to life with those citursy promises with the radiant, vibrant and juicy taste of tangerines. While hints of red grapefruit, pineapple and mango shadow the orange flavors, the beer slowly trends moderately bitter with the taste of verbena, sassafras, lemongrass and chive.

Medium bodied and trending semi-dry, the malt support remains reasonably firm for balance and a plump texture. A medium length aftertaste of hop bitterness extends with the herbal snappiness of gin-like botanicals, green tea and muddled citrus peels. Cincy Cobra is a very sensible and tasty beer that handles the "hazy" genre of IPA with kid gloves.
