I tried this at the brewery. It poured a deep rich amber with thin white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had dank fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt mixed with dark cherry and plum presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its was a decent beer.

Thoroughly enjoyed this "strong scotch ale" in the growler via the brewery
in a snifter. This fine scotch ale pours a ruby tinged light brown mahogany with
a nice head of off white foam that dissipates to a thick ring, subtle light wispy layer,
and features light spotty lacing. Nose of lightly smoked peat malts, brown sugars,
and subtle cherry notes. Flavors hit the mark with light smoked peat malts and brown sugar
notes tossed with earthy malt and light refreshing herbal hop notes that round out the flavors
in this fine representation of the scotch/wee heavy style with a touch of cherry flavor. Excellent
mouth feel; medium full body, sweet and lightly chewy, medium carbonation that keeps it lively,
and a lightly warming sweet finish.
Overall, this is one fine ale and a nice play on the man most commonly known to have been
stuck in a bath tub.
Cheers
