Look - great looking clear copper color with a big white head
smell - juicy just like the name. Lots of citrus like a nectarine slight pine mango and caramel
taste - standard double IPA with citrus and caramel notes and slight pine
feel - medium body lighter carbonation
overall - great looking and smelling beer. Taste feel pretty standard.

12oz can, date stamped 071119. Deep copper colored body with a sticky and foamy beige head. Hop aroma of lemon-lime, grapefruit, quite herbal, and a bit of the onion some have mentioned but I've never experienced with Mosaic. It is juicy, but carries an herbal funk along with more of that off-putting onion; slight berry-ness; citrus & tropical hop notes try to come through with some lemon, grapefruit, mango, and orange. Full body, moderate carbonation, sticky sweet along with sticky resinous hops, finish is modestly bitter and more sweet with onion/chive and herbal hops lingering. The first can I did not like, but I did enjoy the other cans more; I adjusted my scores accordingly.

Brewed as the HOPpleganger to Juicy Jubilee, the use of Strata and Mosaic hops take this imperial IPA into the world of berry and herb.
Light amber, orange and golden hues decorate Juicy Jubilee underneath a hazy coat. Its creamy cotton froth sets above while a bevy of hop aromatics flood the nose. Tropical, citrus and botanicals create and exotic perfume while a twinge of berry and wine offer curiosity. Sweeter on the palate, the early taste reveals a blend of honey and caramel in a soft graham cracker flavor.
As the malts slowly retreat and the hops take command, the middle palate opens with passionfruit and mango from the tropical spectrum but then pink grapefruit and tangerine from its more citrusy contingency. Red berries and blueberries have a turn in a black tea bitterness that trails along with a pungent taste of hemp, chive and fresh grass clippings.
Medium full and juicy on the tastebuds, the imperial IPA holds onto its malt sweetness to help balance the bitterness and to offset the alcohol spice when its drying taste brings a high rate of drinkability to the finish. A long and spicy aftertaste of gin-like botanicals outlasts the sweetness but barely.
