This Schwarzbier was made with our house lager yeast and debittered black malt to make a smooth, roasty base beer. We then added a 1/2 lb per gallon of blackberries to give a balanced note of tartness. And, luckily, the Schwarzberries taste like Schwarzberries!

This has a wonderful roasty aroma with a hint of blueberry jam on the back end. Roasty and dark. The sweet jammy notes play well with the dark roast.
