This brew is green. Its not quite St. Paddys Day food coloring green, but it sits at the disharmonic convergence of green, brown, yellow, and orange. Smells variously like laundry soap or an herbal sprite. And it tastes like mouthwash. Not even a good mouthwash, but bargain brand mouthwash diluted with North Jersey tap water.
This beer has no proper name. Its just hefeweizen. They dont even serve it with lemon as that might provide more flavor than this glutenous malefaction is entitled to. It starts with a nice white compact head that drops away promptly, and it does leave lots of lacy thread. But on the whole, this is one of the most dismal wheat beers Ive ever had. It is sad. So sad.
