Pours black. Thin, foamy, short, off white head that fades quickly.
Smells roast, coffee, earthy, cream.
Tastes sweet malt, roast malt, light earthiness and light chocolate and hints of lactose. Finish is semi sweet with light lactose and coffee linger. Medium body and soft, creamy medium carbonation.

Honestly, this is one of the better milk stouts that I've ever had. There was a good level of sweetness to the lactose that complimented the deep chocolate flavors. The sweetness was not cloying at all. Very delicious beer.
